Vendor: Quietfail Apps Last updated: 5 August 2026
This app runs entirely on Atlassian's Forge platform. No data leaves Atlassian's infrastructure. There are no external servers, no third-party services, no analytics, and no data transfer to the vendor. The vendor cannot see your data.
To answer "what breaks if I deactivate this person?", the app reads and stores an inventory of relationships between users and objects in your Jira and Confluence instance:
| Data | Purpose |
|---|---|
Atlassian accountId and display name | Identify who holds a dependency |
| Group membership (expanded to users) | Confluence space permissions are granted to groups, not individuals |
| Project keys, names, and leads | Identify project and component ownership |
| Project role membership | Identify role-based dependencies |
| Filter and dashboard names and owners | Identify ownership of saved searches and dashboards |
| Space keys, names, and administrators | Detect spaces with a single administrator |
| Page IDs, titles, and edit restrictions | Detect pages only one person can edit or has ever edited |
| Issue counts per person per project | Show workload attached to a person (counts only, never issue content) |
What the app does not process: issue descriptions, comments, page bodies, attachments, email addresses, or any content of your documents. It reads metadata about ownership and permissions, not the material itself.
In Forge's own storage (Key-Value Store and Custom Entity Store), provisioned by Atlassian and scoped to your installation. Data inherits your Atlassian instance's hosting region and Atlassian's encryption at rest and in transit. The app declares no egress permissions, which is why it qualifies for Atlassian's *Runs on Atlassian* program.
Scan results are replaced on each new scan; the previous scan's data is deleted automatically when a scan completes. When you uninstall the app, Atlassian removes all app storage associated with your installation. No copy exists anywhere else.
Only users with Jira administrator permission in your own instance, through the app's admin page. The vendor has no access path to your data: the app exposes no external endpoint, and Forge does not grant vendors access to customer app storage.
None. The app uses no third-party service of any kind. Atlassian is the sole processor, as the platform host.
If you contact support, you choose what to include in your message. Please do not paste customer-identifying data into support requests — a scan run ID and a description of the behaviour are enough to diagnose almost anything.
Material changes to this policy will be reflected in the "Last updated" date and, when they affect what data is processed, in the app's Marketplace listing release notes.
