Terms of Use — Offboarding Map for Jira and Confluence

Vendor: Quietfail Apps Last updated: 5 August 2026

1. Agreement

By installing or using Offboarding Map for Jira and Confluence ("the app"), you agree to these terms. The app is distributed through the Atlassian Marketplace and is also subject to the Atlassian Marketplace Terms of Use, which govern billing, trials, refunds and the customer relationship with Atlassian. Where these terms conflict with Atlassian's, Atlassian's prevail.

2. Licence

You are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the app in the Atlassian instances covered by your subscription, for as long as that subscription is active.

3. What the app does, and what it does not

The app produces an inventory of dependencies — relationships between users and objects in Jira and Confluence. It is a reporting tool.

It does not:

You remain responsible for every administrative action you take. The app informs a decision; it does not make one.

4. Accuracy and limits of the inventory

The inventory reflects what Atlassian's APIs expose to a Forge app at the time of the scan, and is as current as your most recent scan. Three limits are stated explicitly because they are structural, not defects:

administrator, sole edit restriction, and creator with no third-party edits. It does not infer ownership.

Atlassian product, so no Forge app can read them.

Spaces where the only admin path is this access class are flagged as "no individual admin" rather than attributed to specific people.

The app is a decision aid, not a guarantee of completeness. Do not treat it as the sole control in a process where an omission would cause material harm.

5. Acceptable use

Do not attempt to circumvent the app's licence tiers, reverse engineer it beyond what applicable law permits, or use it to gather information about individuals for purposes unrelated to administering your own Atlassian instance.

6. No warranty

The app is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. The vendor does not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted or error-free, nor that the inventory will be complete.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the vendor's total liability arising from or related to the app is limited to the amount you paid for it in the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. The vendor is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, including lost profits, lost data, or business interruption — including losses arising from an administrative action taken or not taken on the basis of the app's output.

8. Support

Support is provided by email on a best-effort basis, in English or Portuguese. There is no contractual response-time commitment. Report defects with the scan run ID and a description of the observed behaviour.

9. Term and termination

These terms apply while the app is installed. Uninstalling the app ends them. Atlassian removes all app data on uninstall. The vendor may discontinue the app with notice through the Marketplace listing; the vendor may suspend access in case of a material breach of section 5.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federative Republic of Brazil, with exclusive jurisdiction in the courts of the vendor's domicile, except where mandatory consumer or local law provides otherwise.

11. Changes

The vendor may update these terms. Material changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date and in the Marketplace listing release notes. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance.
